Speech & Language Therapy

Is your child hard to understand, or does your child seem to have a hard time expressing themselves or understanding what is being said? At Bright Therapy speech sessions combine games, play, and fun activities to help your child:

Literacy Services

Does your child have difficulty reading or sounding-out words? Demonstrate poor spelling? Difficulty rhyming or learning the connection between letters and sounds? Bright Therapy offers literacy services from a licensed speech-language pathologist to better help your child increase their spelling and reading confidence.

AAC

Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is an area of clinical practice that supplements or compensates for impairments in speech-language production and/or comprehension, including spoken and written modes of communication. AAC uses a variety of techniques and tools to help your child express thoughts, wants and needs, feelings, and ideas, including the following:

  • Manual signs

  • Gestures

  • Picture communication boards

  • Speech- generating devices.
